Replicating Vintage Wallpaper
We recently had an opportunity to replicate vintage wallpaper from decades ago. The existing wallpaper is currently installed at a speakeasy in Tribeca. We had to match and print the pattern for two closet doors that are adjacent to the existing wallpaper. We were given an 11" x 17" scan of the pattern and our production artist reproduced the pattern in Photoshop. After multiple proofs and trips to the bar, she color matched the new wallpaper to the existing. In Photoshop she tiled the pattern together so it seamlessly paired together.
