Kickstarter Fest: Dimensional Cardboard Displays
On July 30th Kickstarter hosted a festival in Fort Greene Park showcasing the work of local creators who have successfully raised funds for their creative projects in Brooklyn.
Print Structures helped out by making eye-catching logos out of cardboard. The cardboard came in 5'x10' sheets and we router cut them to shape - the letter "K" and a sun. Because they were freestanding we needed to make them deep. We achieved this by gluing together 12 pieces of 1.5" cardboard, making them 18" thick. The center of the logos had sintra support structures and the bottoms were a metal base for standing. Each graphic had a cardboard face with applied adhesive vinyl to the fronts.
