WHITE INK

Traditional printers have four color ink systems; Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (CMYK). Our flatbed printers have a fifth color – White. White Ink enables under-printing for non-white media or objects, over-printing for backlit applications on transparent media and printing white as a spot color.

Below are some advantages of having printers with white ink:

  1. Ability to print on colored and clear, rigid and flexible substrates.

  2. Create backlit, day-night and opaque applications.

  3. Specify how white ink is applied giving us the flexibility to create a wide range of applications on a variety of surfaces.

    • Print first, last or in-between colors.

    • Print as a spot color or as a flood layer.

    • Print in one of two layers.

  4. View the layers on-screen before the job is printed to verify the layer order.
